Party game for iPhone
Bid. Build your squad. Win over the AI judge.
Pick a topic like Zombie Crew or Desert Island, give everyone the same budget and auction the cards one by one. When every squad of 5 is full, each player defends their picks while an AI judge sizes up every squad and ranks them with a short, witty comment. Draft & Bid turns a single iPhone into the auctioneer.

How it works
No cards to print, no banker, no score sheets. The app runs the auction, guards every budget and calls in the AI judge at the end.

Pick a topic
Choose a pack such as Halloween, Heist Crew or Dream Dinner. Each pack asks one question, like “Who joins your zombie apocalypse crew?”

Split the budget
Everyone starts with the same budget: 20, 100 or 200. Every squad needs exactly 5 cards.

Bid for the cards
Cards go under the hammer one at a time. Raise, bluff, or save your money for a bargain later on.

Defend and hear the verdict
Each player gets 30 seconds to pitch their squad. Meanwhile the AI judge scores every squad on how well the cards fit the topic and each other. Spending more won't win.
Two ways to bid

Live Auction
The phone sits in the middle of the table. Tap your own chip to raise the bid by one step and the gavel starts counting: “Going once, going twice… SOLD!”

Sealed Bid (Premium)
Pass the phone around and type your bid in secret. When everyone has bid, all bids are revealed at once and the highest one takes the card.
One phone or an online room
One phone on the table
Play at the table, in the car or at a campsite. Everything runs on one iPhone and nobody else needs to install anything. Internet is only needed for the AI judge's verdict; offline, the budget rule decides.
Online room
Everyone bids on their own phone and sees the same judge's verdict. Invite friends with a 4-letter code or a link; joining a room is free. Online rooms need an internet connection.
17 topic packs
Every pack has 45 cards and its own question. Five packs are free; Premium unlocks the rest. New packs arrive without an app update.

Quick answers
What is Draft & Bid?
Draft & Bid is a party game for iPhone in which 2 to 8 players get the same budget, bid against each other for cards from a topic pack, build a squad of 5 and then defend it. An AI judge scores the squads and picks the best one.
How many players do you need?
2 to 8 players. Free games allow up to 5 players; Premium allows up to 8.
How does the AI judge decide?
The AI judge scores every squad on how well its cards fit the topic and complement each other, then ranks them with a short, witty comment. Spending more money does not win. If the AI can't be reached, the budget rule decides: the fuller squad, then the one with more budget left.
What data does the AI judge see? Are player names sent?
Only the topic, the card names and the amounts spent are sent, through a Firebase Cloud Function, to a third-party AI text model. Squads are labeled A, B, C, so player names and personal data are never sent or stored. In an online room everyone sees the same verdict.
